We were discharged from the hospital on 9/3/12 (Labor Day). Allie's bilirubin level was 13.6 (blood level), so we made a trip to the pediatrician's office the following day. After all of the doctors made their rounds and the nurses gave us the discharge instructions, it was time to go. However, this discharge was bizarre. No wheelchair, no farewell. It was almost like they said "we've made your stay as great as possible, now don't let the door hit you on the way out." But I wasn't about to just walk out to the parking garage 3 days after a c-section... I got my wheelchair ride.
