The Stovall Family: 4th Day... and still in the hospital

We had the option to go home the 4th day (Sunday), but with my high pain level the day before we opted to stay an extra day. Again, the food was great and someone brought me drugs around the clock... who would want to leave!?!?! Audrey was in good hands with her grandparents, so we really had no other responsibilities at that time.

My platelet count had risen so I was able to take the Anaprox/Anti-inflammatory. It made a world of difference. My pain was under control this day.

We had a bunch of visitors as well. Jeff's aunts, Ruth and Billie, came by to see Allie for the first time. The Stovall family has been blessed with babies this year. Two of Jeff's cousin had babies recently and Allie makes three. Family get togethers will be a lot of fun for these little ones.

My brother, Stephen, made a trip up from Austin to see his newest niece. He missed Audrey's birth, but he had a valid excuse... he was deployed in Iraq at the time. I will let that slide. It was really cute watching him with Allie. He was taking a bunch of pictures and holding her almost the whole visit. Audrey loves her Uncle Stephen too. :) My Dad came by again as well, and this time we got pictures!!! He is really proud of his 2 and only granddaughters.

Our daily numbers:

Bilirubin skin level: 11 (above 10 and you have to draw a blood level)

Bilirubin blood level: 12 (still low-intermediate risk for jaundice requiring bili-lights)

Weight: 3317 grams - 7 lbs 5 oz (woo-hoo weight gain!!!)
