The Stovall Family: Big Girl, Big Changes

We recently took our house off of the market, so we have been focused on the baby's room and organization. So.... with decorating and getting the baby's room ready means Audrey got the boot! However, she really got a nice upgrade in beds. Audrey moved across the hall to the 'guest bedroom' which is now her room. She also got the guest bedroom furniture which includes a VERY comfortable queen size bed. On June 24th, Jeff and I moved all of Audrey's things into her new room while she wasn't home. We have been talking to her about the "big move" and she seemed pretty excited. When she got home, she wanted to stay in her new room that night even though it wasn't finished. I was apprehensive because she has been in a crib her entire life. Well, to our surprise she has done great. She doesn't scream and cry or fight with us. During nap/quiet time, she either sleeps or plays quietly in her room for a few hours. At bedtime, she still comes up with fifty things she "needs" before going to sleep, but at least she stays in her bed and doesn't throw a fit!

This is another reason it was time for her to get the boot!!
